Cooperation between the Ministries of Health of Azerbaijan and Cuba is expanding

A meeting was held with the Mission led by Olga Avdeyeva, project manager for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Global Fund, in the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
Greeting the guests, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev noted that Azerbaijan has always attached importance to relations and cooperation with the Global Fund: "Since 2005, the Global Fund has been closely involved in supporting anti-tuberculosis activities in Azerbaijan in the fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Currently, the projects of the Global Fund are continuously implemented in Azerbaijan and make a great contribution to the fight against tuberculosis in our country. "Recently, regular meetings of the Ministry of Health with the missions of the Global Fund are a great support for the development of our cooperation."
In the end, Teymur Musayev said that he is hopeful that effective cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and the Global Fund will be developed more successfully.

In turn, the Head of Mission of the Global Fund said that we positively evaluate the work done by Azerbaijan in the fight against AIDS and other infectious diseases, and that the indicators are successful in the region. Olga Avdeyeva also emphasized that a number of important projects of the Global Fund have recently been successfully implemented together with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
The current state of cooperation and potential development opportunities were also discussed at the meeting.
