Registration of Food supplements (FS)

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the sale of Food Supplements (FS) in the territory of the country is allowed only after their state registration. The FS registration process includes FS  expertise and certification. Makromed LLC carries out the initial analysis of the ingredients to determine the registration service of FS in Azerbaijan, as well as the possibility of registration of the medicine as FS . Our pharmacists accompany the process of registration, examination and certification of FS  at all stages. In order to determine the possibility  of registration of the medicine  as FS , the ingredients of FS  are analyzed in accordance with the regulations. If discrepancies are found in the dosage and ingredients, the manufacturer or distributor is advised to adjust the composition of the medicine.
All of the following FS registration services are provided at a professional level:
 1. Preliminary examination of registration documents
 2. Analysis of ingredients and their doses in the composition of FS
 3. Preparation of "Instructions for use" in the Azerbaijani language in accordance with local requirements
 4. Preparation of "Packaging model" in accordance with the legislation
 5. Obtaining an import permit for samples and customs clearance
 6. Submission of registration file and samples to the Analytical Expertise Center authorized by the Ministry of Health for examination
 7. Monitoring the registration process and constantly informing the customer
 8. Obtaining an expert opinion on the granting of the status of FS to the product after the examination
 9. Submission of documents to the Food Safety Agency to obtain a Food Safety Certificate based on an expert opinion
The registration period of FS  is 1-1.5 months.
