In accordance with the "Strategy for Vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2022", the vaccination process continues in stages across the country.
Based on the results of recent scientific research and the experience of vaccination in a number of countries, the Scientific Medical Council of the Ministry of Health has made the following decisions.
1. The term of the "Immunity Certificate" will be extended for 6 months if the infected and registered persons receive a single dose of any vaccine against COVID-19 used in the Republic of Azerbaijan 6 months after recovery.
2. The term of the "Vaccine Certificate" will be extended for 6 months if vaccinated citizens receive one dose of any vaccine against COVID-19 used in the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the relevant medical instructions 6 months after the second dose.

It should be noted that the health authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan pay attention to the experience of advanced countries in the field of vaccination, and positive experiences of scientific innovations related to COVID-19 will be added to the "Strategy for Vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2022."
