The laboratory of AQTI once again achieved successful results in international competency tests
Regarding the development of the laboratory system in the field of food safety, measures are regularly implemented in the direction of strengthening and modernization of the material and technical base of the laboratories operating under the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AQTI). Also, the participation of personnel in trainings and international inter-laboratory competency tests is ensured for the application of advanced technologies in the laboratories, to increase the competence.
Within the framework of the events, the Comprehensive Research Laboratory of AQTI participated in the next proficiency tests organized by the English company "LGC Standards" on the quality (crude protein, crude fat, crude ash, and moisture) and microbiological (salmonella) analyzes of feed and obtained successful results. .
It should be noted that this laboratory has achieved successful results on the parameters of vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 in biologically active food products in the competence tests conducted by the LGC Standards company some time ago.
It should also be noted that microbiological, toxicological, physical chemical tests are carried out in accordance with the quality and safety parameters of agrochemicals, veterinary preparations, feed and feed additives, packaging materials, and biologically active food products using international methods in the Complex Research Laboratory.
